Jim Elsner

Welcome to the Jim Elsner State Farm office here in Harrisburg, PA. I’ve been with State Farm for more than 38 years, and during that time I’ve truly enjoyed being a steady, familiar resource for individuals, families, and business owners in our community. I’m a graduate of Messiah College in Grantham, PA, where I earned my B.S. in Marketing. That background, along with decades of hands‐on experience, helps me focus on clear communication and making insurance feel understandable—not overwhelming.

One of the most valuable parts of our office is the team. Kristen, Ed, and Jon are an important part of what we do, and together we work to guide customers through insurance and financial services conversations at a pace that feels comfortable. Whether someone is new to the area, transferring coverage to Harrisburg, or just reviewing what they already have, we’re here to help explain options and answer questions along the way. Our office assists with a wide range of needs, including Auto Insurance, Homeowners Insurance, Renters Insurance, Condo Insurance, and Life Insurance. We also help with Business Insurance, Health Insurance, Pet Insurance, Personal Articles Insurance, and, where available, banking services. The goal is always to help people feel confident about the choices they’re making—without pressure.

Outside the office, family time is very important to me. I enjoy spending time with my wife, our children, and our grandchildren, and those relationships remind me every day why preparing for the future and protecting what matters most is so meaningful.
